The Bowen Technique is one of the most versatile and effective therapeutic treatments available today offering significant relief for many conditions.
How It Works Bowen focuses on the body rather than targeting a single symptom or condition. During a typical session lasting 45 to 60 minutes, a Bowen therapist applies a series of gentle moves across different parts of the body, often pausing between sequences to allow the body to respond. It involves gentle, rolling hand movements over specific areas of the body, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and skin, with the aim of promoting relaxation, reducing pain, and encouraging the body to reset itself. It is considered safe for all ages. Sessions are tailored to the individual, taking into account medica history, current conditions, and personal goals to maximise the healing effect. Some clients report noticeable improvement after just one or two sessions, while others may require 3 to 6 sessions or ongoing therapy for chronic conditions People often say they experience a deep sense of relaxation helping the body to recharge and balance itself.
